Everything you need to know
If your question isn't here, just ask - we're a small team and always happy to help.
The water flows up through a hidden pipe inside the water column - the same pipe that supports the tap comes from the pump. From any angle all you see is water pouring from a floating tap with nothing holding it up. The illusion works from every direction and never gets old.
Any watertight container deep enough to hide the pump - a minimum of 300mm deep and 300mm wide works well. Half barrels, stone troughs, large planters, ceramic pots and garden ponds all work perfectly. If you're not sure whether your container will work, drop us a message and we'll advise.
Not at all. Most customers have it running within 15 minutes. Full step by step instructions are included with every feature - no plumber needed. If you get stuck at any point just get in touch and we'll walk you through it.
Around 15 minutes from opening the box to water running. Fill your container, place the feature, plug in the pump and you're done. The Spring takes a little longer due to the digging required - allow around 30–45 minutes for that one.
Every feature is built from brass and hand-soldered copper - the same materials used in the highest quality plumbing. There is no plastic in the tap or spout assembly. Each feature is hand painted, lacquered, and assembled to order by us in the UK. The pump is a high quality proven unit specifically chosen for reliability and low noise.
Very quiet. Each pump is specifically chosen for low operating noise - all you hear is the relaxing sound of running water. No major hum, no mechanical noise.
Our solar options don't cost anything to run. Our wired pumps use very little electricity — roughly the same as a low energy light bulb. Running it all day costs just a few pence.
Our standard features are supplied with a 500mm long tube, making the feature stand around 650mm from the base of the pump to the top of the tap.
Yes — every feature is hand painted to order so colour is entirely flexible. We offer a range of standard colours and are happy to discuss bespoke paintwork for anything outside that. Get in touch with your idea and we'll let you know what's possible. There's no extra charge for standard colours — bespoke requests are priced on request.
Yes — it works indoors and outdoors equally well. Indoors it works particularly well in a large decorative bowl, ceramic pot or stone trough. The pump is whisper quiet so it won't disturb a room. The only thing to bear in mind indoors is minor water splash around the container — a drip tray underneath solves this completely.
The feature itself is built from solid brass and copper so it handles outdoor conditions well. We recommend bringing the pump and tube inside during prolonged freezing temperatures to protect them. In milder weather it can stay out year round no problem.
Yes — all our features are fully compatible with both fresh and salt water. The brass and copper construction is naturally resistant to salt water corrosion. This makes them particularly well suited to coastal gardens and marine-themed displays.
Absolutely — all our features can be easily incorporated into an existing pond setup. The pump can be situated onto any flat surface base. The tube length can be adjusted if needed — contact us before ordering if you have a specific pond depth and we'll make sure everything works for your setup.
Every feature comes with a 12-month warranty on the pump and the tap assembly. If anything isn't right just get in touch and we'll sort it out — we're a small team and take customer service and satisfaction seriously.

Very little maintenance is required. Top up the water level in your container regularly — especially in warm weather when evaporation is higher. Clean the filter sponge every few weeks by rinsing it under a tap. Wipe down the tap and spout occasionally with a damp cloth. That's genuinely all it needs to keep running perfectly.
Yes — the feature simply lifts out of one container and drops into another (unless you have The Spring, which is integrated into a specific container). As long as the new container meets the minimum depth and width requirements it'll work perfectly. You can move it around the garden or bring it inside without any hassle.
Yes — replacement pumps, taps, tubes and filter sponges are available. If you need a spare part just contact us with your original order details and we'll get the right part out to you. We keep stock of all components used in our features.
