About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of thefloatingtap.co.uk and any purchase you make from The Impossible Floating Tap Company. By placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms.

The Impossible Floating Tap Company is a trading name operated from Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about these terms please contact us before placing an order.

02

Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. As every feature is handmade to order, we reserve the right to decline an order if we are unable to fulfil it within a reasonable timeframe.

Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering. We accept all major credit and debit cards via Shopify Payments. All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Once your order is confirmed you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when we dispatch your item.

03

Handmade to Order

Every feature is built to order by hand in Oxfordshire. This means your feature is made specifically for you after your order is placed. Build time is typically 3–5 working days before dispatch.

Because features are handmade to order, minor natural variations in finish, colour tone and patina may occur between items. These are characteristics of handmade goods and not defects.

Custom colour requests are agreed at the time of ordering. Once a bespoke colour has been applied the item cannot be returned unless faulty.

04

Delivery

UK orders are dispatched via tracked courier. Free delivery is included on all UK orders. You will receive tracking details by email when your order is dispatched.

International orders are available — please contact us for a shipping quote before ordering. Delivery times and costs vary by destination. Import duties and taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier once your order has been dispatched. If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe please contact us and we will investigate.

05

Returns & Cancellations

You may return an unused item in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Please contact us before returning anything so we can arrange the process.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

As features are handmade to order we begin work quickly after purchase. If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations are accepted before dispatch — once an item has been dispatched it must be returned under our standard returns policy.

Bespoke colour requests cannot be returned unless the item is faulty.

06

Warranty & Faults

Every feature comes with a 12-month warranty covering the pump and tap assembly. If your feature develops a fault within this period please contact us and we will repair or replace it at no cost to you.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, running the pump dry, or normal wear and tear. It also does not cover cosmetic damage caused after delivery.

If your feature arrives damaged please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or repair as quickly as possible.

Spare parts including replacement pumps, taps, tubes and filter sponges are available beyond the warranty period — contact us with your original order details.

08

Privacy & Data

By placing an order you agree to receive transactional emails relating to your order. You may also opt in to marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time.

09

Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our products.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

10

Governing Law
