The Cooper features our largest gate valve tap ever built - dramatic, solid brass, and mounted on an extra wide tube that rises out of a genuine half oak whiskey barrel.
Next to our standard gate valve it's in a different league entirely. The kind of feature that remains captivating from the other end of the garden.

- Handmade giant gate valve floating tap assembly - 1000mm tall from base of barrel to the top of the tap
- Solid brass gate valve tap with metal turn wheel & hand-soldered copper spout
- Genuine half oak whiskey barrel - approx. 500mm diameter x 400mm high
- Inner liner - lets you add plants, gravel or decorative dressing around the rim
- 5000LPH pump - whisper quiet, all you'll hear is the water

The Barrel
Each half barrel is a genuine ex-whiskey cask - unique in character, weathered by years of use. No two are identical in grain, colour or patina. We hand-pick every barrel for quality and condition, and test the complete feature before it leaves us.

The Tap
Our largest gate valve wheel to date - and the largest available for direct purchase anywhere. Hand painted in a two-colour lacquered finish with a standard choice of 7 interchangeable colours - or tell us what you want and we'll make it. The copper spout delivers our best floating illusion yet - the extra height and scale makes it the most dramatic feature in our range.
