The Cooper features our largest gate valve tap ever built, and is the largest available anywhere on the market - dramatic, solid brass, and mounted on a taller and extra wide tube that rises straight out of a genuine half oak whiskey barrel. The Cooper is a true garden centrepiece. Next to our standard gate valve it's in a different league entirely. The kind of feature that remains captivating from the other end of the garden.

The Barrel
Each half barrel is a genuine ex-whiskey cask - unique in character, weathered by years of use. No two are identical in grain, colour or patina. We hand-pick every barrel for quality, fit and condition, and test the complete feature before it leaves us.

Hand painted in a two-colour lacquered finish with a standard choice of 7 interchangeable colours - or tell us what you want and we'll make it. The Set Up
How does the floating illusion work?
The water flows up through a hidden pipe inside the water column - the same pipe that supports the tap, that is in turn, supported by the pump. From any angle all you see is real water pouring from a floating tap with nothing holding it up. The illusion works from every direction and never gets old.
What container do I need?
Any watertight container deep enough to hide the pump - a minimum of 300mm deep and 300mm wide works well. Half barrels, stone troughs, large planters, ceramic pots and garden ponds all work perfectly as long as they are water tight. If you're not sure whether your container will work, drop us a message we are happy to help.
Is it difficult to set up?
Not at all. Most customers have it running within 15 minutes. Full step by step instructions are included with every feature - no plumber needed. If you get stuck at any point just get in touch and we'll happily walk you through it.
How long does it take to install?
Around 15 minutes from opening the box to water running. Fill your container, place the feature, plug in the pump and you're done. The Spring takes a little longer due to the digging required - allow around 30-45 minutes for that one.
