Short of commissioning a bespoke installation costing thousands, nothing comes bigger than The Grand. The same giant brass gate valve tap as The Cooper - dramatic, oversized, impossible to ignore - just without the barrel. Allowing you the freedom to choose your own container or to situate in any body of water to truly make it entirely your own.

The Tap

This isn't a scaled-up version of our standard gate valve. The Grand was designed from the ground up to be as large as a self-contained floating tap can be. The tap body is substantially bigger than anything else in our range, the feature stands one meter from the base to the top of the tap, and the floating illusion at this scale is genuinely something else.

Next to a standard gate valve it's in a completely different league. Next to anything else on the market - there is nothing that comes close.

Hand painted in a two-colour lacquered finish with a choice of 7 handle colours as standard. Any bespoke paintwork can be made on request - please just ask.

The Set Up

How does the floating illusion work?

The water flows up through a hidden pipe inside the water column - the same pipe that supports the tap, that is in turn, supported by the pump. From any angle all you see is real water pouring from a floating tap with nothing holding it up. The illusion works from every direction and never gets old.

What container do I need?

Any watertight container deep enough to hide the pump - a minimum of 300mm deep and 300mm wide works well. Half barrels, stone troughs, large planters, ceramic pots and garden ponds all work perfectly as long as they are water tight. If you're not sure whether your container will work, drop us a message we are happy to help.

Is it difficult to set up?

Not at all. Most customers have it running within 15 minutes. Full step by step instructions are included with every feature - no plumber needed. If you get stuck at any point just get in touch and we'll happily walk you through it.

How long does it take to install?

Around 15 minutes from opening the box to water running. Fill your container, place the feature, plug in the pump and you're done. The Spring takes a little longer due to the digging required - allow around 30-45 minutes for that one.
